Does Drinking Guiness Cause Dark Stools

O mixtures A few words ...

During the course of 22 May on the classes of mathematics and natural sciences, have dealt with mixtures!
mixture is a combination of two or more elements or chemicals that when combined retain their properties. Mixtures can be divided into:
  • -homogeneous mixture, the ingredients so you can not see. naked eye, using simple optical devices.
  • -heterogeneous mixture, the components so we can see. naked eye or by means of simple optical devices.
then exchanged a few ways of separating mixtures (sendymentacja, dekandacja, distillation, crystallization) and have done some exercises. First polagało the administration of examples (both in nature and household), eg mixtures of cieczom solid, liquid, gas, etc. In the second exercise, our aim was among others wymślenie two ways to improve: an electric kettle, school benches, patent lock on the door, etc.

After completing these exercises wkonaliśmy experience. Each of us had to prepare a mixture of hair.

what we needed?

first About 20 beakers or jars,
second Water,
third Substances: milk, eggs, washing powder, clay, sand, cocoa, chalk, denaturant, dishwashing detergent,
4th Microscope,
5th Slides nakrwkowe,
6th Slides Basic,

What was the research problem ?

As the mixture will be "kept" under a microscope?
and
As the mixture is "zachowwać" in the beaker?

What was the hypothesis?

Under the microscope, will look the most interesting (see the most j) homogeneous mixture, while the homogenous mixture in the beaker will provide milk, cocoa, denaturant, washing-up liquid.

How did the test?

First, each of us poured into their little beakers of water, then added randomly selected substances. After adding zamieszaliśmy, wstrząsnęliśmy and prepared from a mixture of microscopic preparations, the appearance of larger intrigued us most;). Then qualified for each of the mixtures in a homogeneous or heterogeneous.

What were our findings?

After mixing the egg and water was colloid when mixed powder washing and water-mixture began to froth.

Our conclusions!

Under the microscope, can be seen only jenorodne mixture.
heterogeneous mixtures of water created when mixed with clay, sand, chalk. However, a homogeneous mixture of water created when mixed with denatured alcohol, liquid soap, milk, kakaa. After mixing the water with an egg or washing powder colloid formation.

At the end of all our mixtures (in addition to a mixture of egg and milk-aesthetic reasons in the course of the study;))) shed into one jar, and zakręciliśmy odstawiliśmy on the shelf. In this way, we created a waste;)
